Wir diskutieren Kant’s Moral World: Ideas and the Real Use of Pure Practical Reason (Oxford University Press, 2025) von Jessica Tizzard (Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen).
Datum: 27.

We'll discuss Kant’s Moral World: Ideas and the
Real Use of Pure Practical Reason
(Oxford University
Press, 2025) by Jessica Tizzard (Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen).
Date: October 27, 2026 - 10:00 AM to 05:30 PM
Location: Hörlgasse 6/8, 1090 Vienna
Program: see below
Jessica's book provides a systematic interpretation of Immanuel Kant’s practical metaphysics, building up to his controversial claim that there are rational grounds to affirm the existence of the immortal soul and God because they represent metaphysical conditions for the realization of a moral world. Her book finally offers a new interpretation of Kant's conception of the highest good.
