[Vdp] Reminder - Save the Date - Doctoral Students Assembly - Monday 17.03 - 18:30-20:00, 2I, NiG

Dear VDP members, This message is to remind you to attend and register for the Doctoral Students Assembly of the summer term. When and Where: Monday, 17 March from 18:30 to 20:00 in room 2i, NIG (2nd floor, Universitätsstraße 7, 1010 Vienna). Agenda: i) New rules for the distribution of ECTs; Working spaces for non-salaried researchers; Pragmatic Academic Series SoSe25 (VDP Coordinator) ii) Reflection on topics raised in the previous assembly on 31 October 2024 (diagnoses, solutions, etc.) iii) Objectives and issues to be addressed at the upcoming VDP Steering Committee meetings and StuKo meetings iv) Observations, questions, suggestions on behalf of the doctoral researchers. I kindly ask you to attend the doctoral student assembly. This is the most important forum for the doctoral students. Apart from being a social forum for a community that does not have so many opportunities for interaction, it is also the main place to raise concerns, discuss issues, and gather input to improve our doctoral education. The issues raised in the assembly are collected by the student representatives and brought to our government for action. Thus, this forum is essential for the government to make policies that are in line with your interests. Apart from this, the student representatives organize some social time over pizza and drinks. In order to plan for this and to avoid waste, they kindly ask you to confirm your attendance by email to mira.magdalena.sickinger(a)univie.ac.at, ideally before Sunday, March 16.
