[Vdp] ***Important*** Funding Request and Reimbursement Guidelines

Dear VDP Members, I trust you are enjoying a pleasant summer. I am writing to inform you that we have prepared a new Funding Request and Reimbursement Guidelines for expenses related to the VDP, including conference participation, external research stays, event organization, summer schools, and similar activities. As part of this update, we have removed several documents, such as the Info sheet on reimbursement claims, the information on speaker fees in the budget document, and the document detailing lunch and dinner rules. However, the Budget document has been retained as it provides information that is updated on an annual basis. The new guidelines provide detailed information on eligibility, the types of expenses that can be reimbursed, how to submit a reimbursement claim, and important deadlines. To ensure responsible use of funds, several new rules have been introduced, which are outlined within the document. We kindly request that you review the document in its entirety. It is now mandatory for VDP to familiarize themselves with the guidelines prior to submitting any funding request and reimbursement claim, and all applications must adhere to the procedures outlined within.
