Dear Professors,
The Avello Publishing Journal's C.F.P 2022 is an erudite examination of the pedagogic
influences of intellectuals on the classical scholarship of ancient Graeco-Roman
philosophy and its literary heirs. Analyse the papyri, ostraca, amulets and incunabula
which are the sources for the prose of classical antiquity; then contextualize the
indexicality of the handwritten scholia written in manuscripts by scholars and their
amanuensis who have written about this prose in their research. These annotations,
inscriptions, corrections and revisions by scribes will help you to write a pro-rata
protocol which is a desideratum for teaching the science of how to analyse Greek and/or
Latin literature. Also analyse publishers’ binding patterns and choice of typographic
fleurons.
